Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant are the founders of the French brand coperni. Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant see it as their duty to try new things and show a possible future. The two are now both working together and married partners. They founded the brand coperni back in 2013, at that time still under the name 'Coperni Femme'. After a creative break to devote themselves to other projects within a prestigious fashion company, Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer once again took over the management of their brand coperni with their modern and refined vision of womenswear. The brand is named after the Renaissance astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who discovered a theory that says the sun is at the center of the universe. coperni takes up this theory, as they put people at the center of their creations. On the first look, the creations appear simple, but coming closer it reveals their complexity. In this way, coperni achieves exactly what many fashion enthusiasts are looking for: innovative clothing that can also be worn in everyday life. coperni offers a selection of feminine accessories, shirts, skirts, dresses and coats. The designs are made of soft materials that hug and honor the female body.

In 2019, coperni launched its iconic swipe bag. Since then, this has been the focus of every collection and is reinterpreted every year by the designers with new materials and ideas - there have already been models made of glass and most recently one made of 18-carat gold. The swipe bag picks up on the 90s accessories trend. The unmistakable coperni bag has taken the fashion world by storm and is an absolute must-have.
